Personally, I think the idea of a high-speed bullet train running the Edmonton-Calgary corridor would be awesome. It would open up a lot of economic opportunities for people; depending on how much it cost to ride the rail, I could see people choosing to live in Red Deer—-where they would presumably pay less for housing—-and then commuting to Edmonton or Calgary for work (and for play).
